Romania’s economy grows faster than China’s

Romania recorded a record 7% economic growth in 2017, the National Statistics Institute (INS) announced on Wednesday, February 14.
罗马尼亚国家统计局(INS)周三宣布，2017年度罗马尼亚经济增长率达到创纪录的7%。
The growth rate, which was higher even than China’s 6.9% economic growth in 2017, surpasses even the most optimistic scenarios.

Romania’s Prognosis Commission has the highest growth estimation for 2017, namely 6.1%.
罗马尼亚的预测委员会对2017年的增长率估计最高预期为6.1%。
In the fourth quarter, the local economy grew by 7% (in seasonally adjusted terms) compared to the same quarter of 2016, according to INS. Compared to the previous quarter, the growth rate was 0.6%.

If I were Romania I wouldn't extend the offer. Look what it took for the GDR to recover and it still hasn't fully done so. Romania also doesn't have any resources to spare it certainly wont be able to invest the hundreds of millions Germany did.

This is good news, but as always, it's the quality of growth that matters as much as the quantity. Is this growth debt-fuelled? I'm not just talking about public (i.e. state) debt but also private debt. Households or corporates.
In order for growth to be sustainable, it needs to be of a high quality and not just aim blindly for high quantity. People who are knowledgable about Romania's economy are more than welcome to add some detail to this if you know stuff in this area.

Depends on the company. Producing goods for EU is definitely viable in Romania and you can probably see that happening.
But for global production China is still unbeatable, because over the years China has set up an insane distribution network, so producing high volume goods for the whole planet is still better over there.
